Is LRWC run by a group of students?

 NO, it isn't. This is a language center set up by IITB and headed by a faculty member, Prof. V Sarma.

How does LRWC announce courses and activities?

You will receive an email message directly from LRWC@iitb.ac.in or on student-notices about our courses and activities.

Does LRWC provide proofreading and editing services?

No, it doesn't provide these services.

Does LRWC offer a course on grammatical accuracy?

Yes, it does. A short course entitled Grammatical Accuracy and Idiomatic Usage helps you improve your understanding of functional grammar and useful idioms in everyday communication.

How can I improve my writing skills with LRWC?

LRWC has two courses on writing skills- Sentence Skills for Better Writing and Better Written Communication in English. In addition to this, Sunday Writing Practise Sessions are an excellent platform to practise writing skills under the guidance of a senior instructor. You can also discuss a short piece of writing during our in-person language consultation sessions. For more details about in-person consultation, please visit the other services page.

How can I improve my speaking skills in English with LRWC?

We offer a range of courses and also conduct activities to hone your oral communication in English. 

Who teaches English at LRWC- Teaching Assistants (TAs) or Instructors?

Instructors are responsible for teaching English at LRWC. TAs only help instructors in conducting sessions.
